This week on the syndicated broadcast radio show, “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight,” our special guest was actress, singer, songwriter, stand up comedian and award-winning playwright, Erin Carere.

When Erin’s not performing her cabaret show at House of Blues on Sunset, or doing stand up at the Comedy Store in Hollywood, she’s writing plays, like her new one-woman show, “Stand Upera.”

Presented as part of The Hollywood Fringe Festival, in “Stand Upera,” Erin explains “How singing wrecked my life, then saved it!” If you haven’t already guessed, versatility is one of Erin’s long suits, and her musical diversity is no exception. Erin describes herself as “a classical-pop-crossover-Broadway-jazz-singer-songwriter.”
