Before he became a singer/songwriter, Dudley Saunders was a performance artist, stunning audiences in the East Village with his non-conformist works. He held onto that unique approach in his third album “The Emergency Lane,” where he displays his masterful ability to tell a story. He has a dark side, with songs like “Love Song for Jeffery Dahmer,” and delights in being provocative. In this in-studio interview, Carolyn brings out Dudley’s lighter side.
