Mardi Gras comes to Los Angeles on Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight

Mardi Gras is on Feb. 21 this year and to celebrate, syndicated broadcast radio show, “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” will broadcast tw0 special Mardi Gras radio shows in Los Angeles:

Feb. 11,  Lisa Haley of Lisa Haley and the Zydekats has agreed to be interviewed and share some of the Louisiana traditions. We’ll play tunes from her Grammy nominated “King Cake” CD; plus

Feb. 18, Maria Muldaur, blues legend who may be best known for her megahit “MIDNIGHT AT THE OASIS.”  She’ll discuss her prolific music career, the music scene in New Orleans, (which she says is her spiritual and musical home), and why she recorded her new CD, “Steady Love,” in The Big Easy.
