This Sunday, February 26, ABC will televise the 84th Annual Academy Awards live from the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
So on Saturday, February 25, in honor of the award show, “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” will broadcast a Movie Music Special. Carolyn will spin tunes that have won or were nominated for the Oscar for Best Song, as well as other movie-related tunes.
Our featured guest will be actor Robert Davi, perhaps best known for playing a James Bond villain in “License to Kill,” an FBI agent in “Die Hard,” or an agent in the 90′s TV show “Profiler.” In addition to being a fine actor, Davi is also an amazing singer. With the release of his new CD, “Robert Davi Sings Sinatra: On the Road to Romance,” Davi embraces his sensitive side with a collection of love songs made famous by Frank Sinatra. Davi has a special connection with Ol’ Blue Eyes, as his screen debut was opposite Sinatra in the TV movie “Contract on Cherry Street.”
If you’re going to be in Las Vegas, don’t miss Davi live onstage at the Venetian Showroom, February 23-25.
If you’re near your radio on Feb. 25th, tune into Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight at 1 AM at 1580 AM, or hear the show after it airs at CFoxRocks.com.
