Tonight at midnight on 1580 AM, “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” will shine on artists appearing at the weekly Malibu Unplugged showcase. Every Thursday night, Terence Davis presents a showcase of up-and-coming artists at The Sunset Restaurant in Malibu. Carolyn’s special guests tonight will be Carrie Jo and Danielle Livingston, two of the artists who will be featured in the show next Thursday, July 26.
Carrie Jo got a kick-start to her singing career when she did well at the American Idol competition. Since then, her singing and songwriting have been heard in several new Hollywood projects, including “Hoodwinked 2” and the game “The Sims,” on which she sang in “Simish.”
Danielle Livingston has a rich soulful voice capable of expressing great emotion. Her songs, including “Caged Bird,” which will be featured on the radio tonight, are emotionally honest with a universal appeal. She’s currently recording her debut CD.
Both of these terrific performers will be signing live at Malibu Unplugged, this coming Thursday, July 26 at The Sunset Restaurant on Malibu Beach, located at 6800 Westward Beach Road, near Point Dume State Beach. The show starts around 6 pm, and you can enjoy an ocean view and happy hour while listening to some of the best up-and-coming talent in town.
Tune your radio to 1580 AM in Los Angeles tonight at midnight to hear new music and interviews on “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight.”
