Kyle Branche, Expert on Spirits (the kind you drink) on Halloween Special Radio Show

This week on “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight,” bartender to the stars and author of “Life Behind Bars, Vignettes over Cocktails,” Kyle Branche, will be Carolyn’s in-studio guest as part of the special Halloween show.

Kyle is often behind the bar at The Gardenia Room, Hollywood’s (and the country’s) oldest continuous supper club and cabaret.  In his resent book, “Life Behind Bars,” he tells tales of stellar private events, including  post-Grammy and post-Oscar parties, as well as a tattoo convention at the famous, rumored-to-be-haunted Hollywood Palladium.  In honor of Halloween, here’s a clip of Kyle playing “Clive, the Bartender from the Dead” in the short film “The Hounds of Bakersfield.”

To hear Kyle’s interview, as well as lots of spooky Halloween music, on “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” tune in Friday, Oct. 26 at midnight in Los Angeles on 1580 AM, on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 6 PM in Annapolis/Baltimore on 810 AM and on Sunday, Oct. 28, click on CFoxRocks.com or check out this blog for the on-line podcast.
