Hear the Special Blues Edition of “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” Online–Plus, Enter the “Smartest Man in the Room” Contest

If you weren’t able to tune into “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” to hear the Blues Special, have no fear.  You can hear the entire show here.  Paul Mark of Paul Mark and the Van Dorens, as well as actor and comedian Phil Proctor of The Firesign Theater make special appearances on the show.

As Carolyn’s special guest, Paul Mark discusses his new release, “Smartest Man in the Room.”  This CD features sizzling guitar solos and killer groves on a collection of songs that range from the dark to the humorous.  The video of “Don’t Ya Tell Henry,” the lone cover track on the album, looks and sounds like a fantastic night at the club.  Paul Mark & the Van Dorens always deliver blistering beats and a raging blues sound.

In addition, funny man Phil Proctor offers a humorous lesson on “How to Sing the Blues.”  If you’ve heard Phil’s work with The Firesign Theater, or his acting in “Finding Nemo,” “Monster’s Inc.” or “Rugrats” you know how hilarious he is.
