Special 4th of July Show, Featuring In-Studio Guest Larkin McLean

In honor of Independence Day, “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” aired a 4th of July music special, featuring tunes from Bruce Springsteen,  Timbuk 3, Chicago, Maria Muldaur, Lisa Haley and the Zydekats, and Ray Charles.

This is the first show broadcast in our new time slot, Friday night at midnight.

Carolyn Fox’s special in-studio guest, singer songwriter Larkin McLean, shared behind-the-scenes stories about the making of her new music video “Skinny Dipping Party.”  This track from Larkin’s recently released CD, “If You’re a Wild Girl Say Aye,” is a perfect song for a playful pool party video featuring gorgeous guy and gals, including a pair of twin synchronized swimmers.

So whether you like rock, pop, the blues, country, zydeco, hip hop or R&B, “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” has a mix of summertime music that’s the perfect accompaniment for your 4th of July celebration, such as a picnic in the park, barbecue at the beach, pool party, or watching fireworks.
