Maria is one of the most honored blues artists and one of the prolific recording artists in any genre, averaging an new album each year.  “Steady Love,” a recent release, featured swampy blues as well as some gospel tracks.

Her 4oth album is a tribute to a blues legend, “First Came Memphis Minnie.”  This album features tracks from such luminaries as Bonnie Raitt and the late Phoebe Snow.
