Blues Great Maria Muldaur–Exclusive Interview on LA Radio Tonight

Maria Muldaur Maria Muldaur, of “Midnight at the Oasis” fame, will be Carolyn Fox’s special guest on the radio show “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight” tonight, Friday, June 21 at midnight on 1580 AM.

Maria has consistently been in the top of the Living Blues Chart and garnered many honors for her music.  She’s also one of the most prolific recording artists, averaging an new album each year.  “Steady Love,” a recent release, featured swampy blues as well as some gospel tracks.

Her most recent album, and her 4oth, is a tribute to a blues legend, “First Came Memphis Minnie.”  This album features tracks from such luminaries as Bonnie Raitt and the late Phoebe Snow.

Maria will sing tunes from both of her newest albums in a rare Los Angeles appearance, one week from tonight on June 28 at McCabe’s Guitar Shop located at 3101 Pico Blvd., in Santa Monica.  The 8 PM show sold out, but seats are still available for the 10 PM show.  You can get tickets at the store, by calling (310) 828-4497, or at the McCabe’s website.
