Carolyn Fox's Hollywood

This week, our very special guest on “Carolyn Fox’s Hollywood Spotlight,” is the fabulous Phil Proctor.  A lightening quick wit and entertaining raconteur, Phil’s voice has appeared in numerous Pixar movies, including “Toy Story,” “Finding Nemo,” and “Monsters, Inc.” in addition to his role as Howard on the long-running TV show, “Rugrats.”  He is perhaps best knows as a member of the wildly original, surreal comedy troupe, The Firesign Theatre (“Don’t Crush that Dwarf,” “How can You Be in Two Places at Once,” etc.)

Phil recently returned from an engagement in Clearwater, Florida with a stage production of the “The BBC Murders.” Based on stories written by Agatha Christie and adapted by Judith Walcutt and David Ossman (another member of The Firesign Theatre). Phil appeared in multiple roles, including the famous Belgium detective Hercule Poirot.  Others in the cast included Gary Sandy (WKRP) and Phil’s wife, Melinda Peterson, in the role of Agatha Christie.

On the podcast posted below, Phil Proctor shares behind-the-scenes stories about his role as a villain in the CW TV show based on the Green Arrow DC comics, “Arrow.” He has also recently reprised his role as evil Dr. Warren Vidic in the hit video game Assassin’s Creed III.
